WHAT WE BELIEVE
THE WORD OF GOD – We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God profitable for correction and instruction in the life of the believer.
2 Timothy 3:15:16
GOD’S NATURE – We believe in one true God eternally existent in three persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit. God is Omnipresent, Omniscient and Omnipotent.
JESUS CHRIST
– We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, that He was born of a
virgin, sinless in His life, in His suffering and atoning death through His
shed blood, crucified for our sins, in His bodily resurrection on the third
day. He ascended into Heaven and is now
seated at the right hand of God and intercedes for the saints until His
return.
SALVATION OF MAN
– We believe that salvation is a free gift of God and is obtained by repentance
and faith in the work of Jesus Christ on the Cross, received by grace through
faith, not of works. The blood of Jesus
Christ cleanses us from all unrighteousness.
We must confess with our mouth that Jesus Christ died for our sins and
was raised from the dead according to the scriptures.
WATER BAPTISM – We
believe that after repentance and confession of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ,
a believer should be baptized by immersion in water in the name of the Father,
Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. It is
an outward sign of an inward witness.
HOLY SPIRIT BAPTISM – We believe in the present ministry
of the Holy Spirit by whose infilling the Christian is given power for an
overcoming life of service to God as recorded in the Book of Acts.
THE LOCAL CHURCH- That God has ordained the local church for the perpetuation of His truth
and work in the world. {Hebrews 10:25}
UNITY OF BELIEVERS - In proclaiming and
promoting unity between all believers in the body of Christ, for there is only
one body, and Jesus Christ is the head.
THE FINAL JUDGMENT - In the bodily
resurrection of both the saved and the unsaved. The saved to everlasting life with the Lord and the unsaved to
everlasting damnation and torment.
SECOND COMING OF CHRIST – We believe that
the Lord Jesus Christ is coming again for the second time for the Church, which
are the believers.
